Primary Performing Arts
School EnrichmentFor a unique approach to your PPA cover, supply needs or after-school provision.
Why not SAVE MONEY on supply cover and broaden your curriculum by booking us for an enrichment day or after-school provision?
We offer bespoke performing arts classes to suit each year group / mixed year groups in your school. Or would you value an enrichment day instead of supply cover?
Enhancing the curriculum
We deliver extensive coverage of the English curriculum, particularly in Spoken Language. Performing arts links with many other subjects, developing English skills and working collaboratively through a broad and rich curriculum.
We can provide bespoke classes or enrichment days to complement the curriculum and topic. We can build a series of classes that can lead to a theatrical performance for an audience if desired, all you need to do is give us your theme or topic.
Performing arts is a great way to bring the subject matter to life, it can re-enforce learning, stimulate creativity and unlock imagination! It is a rich medium for learning, which is embedded in talk.
We want to support your school to enable each child to have a wide and balanced curriculum. Which is something Ofsted have recently highlighted.

Why choose Performing Arts?
The importance of the arts in education can be summarised with the Chinese proverb “Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I will remember. Involve me and I will understand. Step back and I will act”.
While many parents fear participation in drama will damage their child’s academic progress, a UCLA study concluded that students involved in the arts tend to have higher academic performance and better-standardised test scores.
Academic gains aren’t the only benefits. Improve self-confidence, and public speaking and improve the ability to work collaboratively as a team by working through differences to achieve a goal. Drama gives a safe, supportive environment for discussing and exploring difficult issues or emotions. It encourages pupils to think about their own cultural values and to think more creatively and critically, which improves problem-solving skills.
Drama is ideal for cross-curricular learning and is valuable to enhance learning in many subject areas. In particular, drama develops English skills, supporting speech and language, listening skills and thus improving the quality of writing.
