Welcome to MOMO Academy of Drama
We are a part-time acting school, creating the actors of the future, giving confidence to all, and ensuring every student gets a chance to shine!
MOMO Academy of Drama principals are Mrs Nicola Morris and Mrs Carol Molin, two fully qualified Drama teachers who provide the best possible and affordable performing arts classes in the area.
Both teachers have a wealth of experience and knowledge of Drama teaching and working/performing within the industry.
Lessons are differentiated according to ability and all children with any level of experience are invited to join. Students may progress through LAMDA examinations and gain valuable QCA points towards further education.
We offer group classes, 1:1 face-to-face and 1:1 online lessons. Each student is treated as an individual talent to nurture. Local entry to competitions and support with auditions are always available for our students. Many MOMO students have gone on to prestigious performing arts schools and then work within the industry.
Come and have some fun and learn valuable new skills along the way!

Leading the way
Nicola Morris
Principal
Nicola has been teaching Drama for over 20 years to a variety of ages and abilities. She is a performer who enjoys both acting and singing. Nicola is a qualified teacher, with experience of many years in the primary classroom environment and leadership roles. During her time as a drama teacher, she has had the pleasure to see students go on to obtain places at a variety of Drama Schools, including Italia Conti, LGSM and LAMDA.
Teaching performing arts is a real passion for Nicola, who believes that it should be affordable and accessible to all children. She says ‘I thoroughly enjoy nurturing each individual child and helping them to become more confident individuals. I believe that Drama is a life skill that anybody can learn and carry with them throughout life.’ She enjoys watching her former students on the television too! However, it is the students who begin quiet and shy and grow into confident young adults that gives her the most pride.
Adèle Harris
Teacher
Adèle is an actor and singer, specialising in physical theatre. She trained at East 15 Acting School and since graduating she has worked on various film and audio projects, performed multiple shows in care homes and toured a variety of theatres in education shows to schools across the country.
Adèle can’t wait to get to work at MOMO and is looking forward to sharing her own knowledge and experiences of theatre with all of the MOMO students. She is super excited to be a part of spreading the joy of performing arts at the academy and is itching to help all of the MOMO students grow and succeed.
Adèle is passionate about puppetry, and in her spare time, she enjoys songwriting and keeping on top (quite literally) of her aerial circus skills – not at the same time of course!
Carol Molin
Principal
Carol Molin has many years of acting, singing, directing and teaching experience having trained in Acting and Drama at Surrey University, Bretton Hall and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has performed at the Wilde Theatre, Berks, toured Oxfordshire with the Riverside Players Theatre Company and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in Denmark.
A trained singer she has also performed at Leighton House Museum London, in cabaret performances in London, Kent and Oxfordshire and on tour in Copenhagen. Carol is also trained in Theatre Make-up and enjoys demonstrating ageing, fantasy and casualty make-ups to her students.
She is dedicated to her MOMO pupils and is proud that many of them have gone on to train at LAMDA, Guildhall, ALRA, Arts Educational, Birmingham School of Acting and the University of Birmingham as well as becoming members of WBOS, Bilston Operatic Society and the National Youth Theatre.
Freya
Teaching Assistant
Freya has been a student with MOMO since we first opened up Burntwood Branch. She started when she was just 7 years old!
Freya is now working towards her GOLD medal acting LAMDA and is an excellent asset to the Momo team. She supports students with their LAMDA pieces, choreographs some of the musical theatre numbers and leads some of the games too!
